Bausch + Lomb Promotional Pop-Up
We created the Bausch + Lomb promotional pop-up to celebrate the launch of the company’s new contact lenses, featuring their cutting-edge technology. While designing the brochure, it was essential that we presented specialist technical information in a fun and engaging way.

As with all our promotional pop-ups, we began this project by making sure we really understood how our client wanted to present their product. For Bausch + Lomb, this meant showcasing the impressive technical innovations of their latest contact lenses: the ULTRA One Day lenses. As a result, we experimented with ways of incorporating facts and scientific diagrams into our pop-up designs.
We started developing the Bausch + Lomb promotional pop-up based on the artwork the company had supplied to us. Taking inspiration from traditional pop-up formats, we began creating pop-ups that interact across multiple layers. As our first step, we took the decision to position the tall, portrait layer at the back of the pop-up spread. This created a central focal point for the multiple-layered scene. Then, we started to split the Bausch + Lomb’s original artwork into different layers. For example, we placed the homeostasis diagram in the very centre of the pop-up spread. Either side of this, we placed the rectangular front pop-ups, showing the contact lens box itself, as well as extra information.
We completed the piece with a luxurious hard cover, which gives the brochure a satisfying sturdy feel. Additionally, the hard cover can support the brochure in its open position. This means you can display the brochure on your desktop. This lie-flat ability transforms the brochure into an impressive tabletop display. It is guaranteed to attract attention and raise awareness of Bausch + Lomb’s innovative new product.
